West Hollywood Summer Intensive
Come spend your summer in Los Angeles! The Institute offers two intensive programs designed to introduce both the experienced and inexperienced actor to Lee Strasberg’s Method in July or August. This program always includes classes in Method Acting, and Acting for TV/Film, among other classes. All summer intensives have a set curriculum that pushes students toward a certain level of training in acting, while building a basic understanding of Lee Strasberg’s work.
This program is suited for university students, working professionals, and those students who are only able to attend a short program who would like to be exposed to new possibilities in their acting.
3-Week Mid-Summer Intensive: (within) July 8 – July 26
Tuition: $1770 (inclusive of $150 registration fee)
18 hours a week/ 54 Total Program Hours
Mid-Summer Intensive Schedule –To Be Determined
3-Week Late Summer Intensive: (within) August 12 – August 31
Tuition: $1770 (inclusive of $150 registration fee)

The first step is always to apply. Simply click “How To Apply” to download the application and review the additional requirements listed on the second page: $50 application fee, resume, photo, essay, two letters of reference, verification of previous studies, and TOEFL for all applicants whose first language is not English. Once the application and the required submission materials have been received, we will contact you to schedule the personal interview either in person or by telephone or Skype (for those located out of the area).
An admissions decision will then be determined based upon your overall application and interview. Please be advised that there is limited space for this program. This program will close once all spaces have been filled.
Strasberg Intensive programs are open to domestic and international students. *The minimum age to apply is 18 years old. This program offering is not full-time study and therefore does not require the M-1 student visa.
If accepted into the Mid-Summer Intensive Program, tuition deadlines are:
US Students/Green Card holders: June 24, 2013
International Students: June 17, 2013
If accepted into the Late-Summer Intensive Program, tuition deadlines are:
US Students/Green Card holders: July 29, 2013
International Students: July 22, 2013
